Projects of the Broken Arrow Creek Chapter, NSDAR

The Broken Arrow Creek Chapter, NSDAR, is a young and growing chapter whose members are engaged in helping our community. We believe the mission of the NSDAR is of vital importance. Here you will find the areas on which we focus our efforts.

Historic Preservation

The Broken Arrow Creek Chapter, NSDAR, has several projects to honor our heritage. From bell ringing to locating veteran's graves, we take our efforts to preserve our heritage seriously.

Education

The Broken Arrow Creek Chapter, NSDAR, is passionate about education. Educating our members is just the start of the process. We take what we learn and then head out to local schools to hand out books and go to other organizations to educate children on our U.S. Constitution. We are constantly looking for new ways to get the message out about the NSDAR.

Patriotism

The Broken Arrow Creek Chapter, NSDAR, has a great love of country and it shines through in so many ways. Honoring our veterans is always on our mind with our Honor Walk Blankets, the Veteran's Coffee Bunker, and the placing of U.S. Flags and wreaths at their graves. We also send out boxes to our active Military overseas.

Women's Issues

With women's issues, the Broken Arrow Creek Chapter, NSDAR, seeks to focus on women in their careers, home, and family. We want to help empower women to be their best in whatever circumstance they find themselves. We go to local women's shelters regularly to help facilitate whatever they may need.
